Samuel Potter, MD, considers himself a 鈥渓ifelong Kentuckian.鈥 He was born and raised in the Commonwealth and says he has no intentions of leaving anytime soon. Northern Kentucky has always been home for Dillon Powell, a fourth-year medical student at the 91小黄车. Raised in Independence, Ky, he attended Simon Kenton High School and Thomas More University. When the 91小黄车 opened its Northern Kentucky Campus in 2019, he knew that was where he wanted to go for medical school.

DanceBlue is the University of Kentucky鈥檚 student-run organization that raises funds for the DanceBlue Kentucky Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic. The yearlong fundraising culminates in a 24-hour dance marathon. This year鈥檚 event will be April 6-7, 2024.
