Black Boys and Men in Medicine, a pathway program designed to address underrepresentation in medicine, recently celebrated another successful year.

This month, the Office of Graduate Medical Education is celebrating its first class of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Certificate Program graduates. A small cohort of residents and fellows spent the past academic year growing in quality improvement and patient safety. They also conducted a QI capstone project and had the opportunity to present at a poster forum.

A new partnership between researchers at the University of Kentucky will combat the threat of infectious diseases through research directed at prevention and treatment.

Thanks to a student-led effort, free sunscreen dispensers are available throughout the University of Kentucky鈥檚 medical campus.
