There will be 44 biomedical learners honored at this ceremony, including 35 master’s students and nine PhD students. Learners involved in biomedical programs at the UK 91С»Æ³µ gain knowledge and experience for prosperous careers in research and research-related areas.

The 91С»Æ³µ will celebrate graduates from its main campus in Lexington, the Rural Physician Leadership Program in Morehead, Ky., and for the first time, graduates at the UK 91С»Æ³µ-Bowling Green Campus.
On Match Day this spring, 147 medical students matched into 66 different institutions and 19 different specialties. Approximately 37% chose to pursue a residency in Kentucky, aligning with the 91С»Æ³µâ€™s mission of training more physicians to address the state’s shortage and advance health care in the Commonwealth.
